A stunning Ping ISI Tour 3 Wood and 5 Wood in new and never been used condition with original Ping WRX Shipping Tag still attached.
From the estate of the late Wilhelm "Willi" Hofmann (1940–2022), a highly respected German PGA golf professional, most famous for his role as the lifelong coach and mentor to World Golf Hall of Famer Bernhard Langer.
These woods were a custom order for Willi Hofmann directly from Ping's high-end "WRX" department. Among the last generation of high-performance "wooden" woods produced by Ping before the industry fully transitioned to metal.
While they have a traditional appearance, they feature a laminated maple construction rather than solid persimmon. Fitted with a prominent brass sole plate that lowers the center of gravity to help launch the ball higher.
These clubs are custom-fitted with Grafalloy ProLite Technology Tour graphite shafts in a Stiff (S) flex.
Fitted with Golf Pride Ping Grips.
