A right-handed hickory shafted Tom Stewart 4 Iron (Mid-iron), specifically a "Special" model made for professional Ernest Cassidy of Pannal Golf Club.  Dating circa 1920.

Tom Stewart (1862–1933) of St Andrews is arguably the most famous "cleekmaker" (iron head maker) in golf history. His "Pipe" mark—the clay pipe stamped on the back of the head—is a hallmark of quality. 

Ernest Cassidy was the long-serving Club Professional at Pannal Golf Club in Harrogate, England. Cassidy was appointed there shortly after the club's opening in 1906 and served for decades

The face features a "dot-punched" or "dotted" pattern, which was common between 1910 and 1925

Head, shaft and grip in good condition
