A right handed hickory shafted iron, from circa 1910-1925 stamped with the Pipe cleek mark, the hallmark of the most famous club maker, Tom Stewart of St Andrews. Crafted and selected for Harry Vardon, Totteridge.
Harry Vardon. Vardon was a 6-time British Open champion and the man who popularized the "Vardon Grip." Totteridge was the South Herts Golf Club where Vardon was the professional from 1902 until his death in 1937.
Head and shaft in good condition. Some slight damage to the butt end of the shaft, see pics. No grip.
