Horatio Gordon "Horace" Hutchinson was a dominant English amateur golfer, winning the British Amateur Championship consecutively in 1886 and 1887, achieved three top-10 finishes in the Open Championship and served as the first English Captain of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club, St Andrews.
