A Right-Handed Hickory shafted Driver "Josh. Taylor Selected" circa 1930. A horn sole insert, rear weighted, leather grip and shaft also stamped "Josh Taylor Selected".
The Josh Taylor "Selected" hickory-shafted driver refers to a line of vintage golf clubs made by Joshua Taylor, a professional golfer and the younger brother of five-time Open champion J.H. Taylor. Josh Taylor served as a professional at several clubs, including Aldeburgh, Seacroft (1907), Acton (1909), and Sudbury (1920) before settling at Richmond Park in 1924.
Head and shaft in good condition. Leather grip has hardened slightly and a little loose.
