A right-handed hickory shafted Tom Stewart Iron, a "Special" model made for professional J Moore. Dating circa 1905-1915
Tom Stewart (1862–1933) of St Andrews is arguably the most famous "cleekmaker" (iron head maker) in golf history. His "Pipe" mark—the clay pipe stamped on the back of the head—is a hallmark of quality.
Dot punched face.
Head is heavily rusted, shaft in good condition however not totally straight. Leather grip is in okay condition but totally loose.
