A right handed hickory shafted smooth face mid-iron "Special", from circa 1890-1910 stamped with the Pipe cleek mark, the hallmark of the most famous club maker, Tom Stewart of St Andrews.
The head is very rusted and difficult to see any markings other than the Pipe cleek mark and "Special".
Shaft is in good condition, not totally straight. Leather grip in good condition.
