A Right-Handed hickory shafted cleek circa 1930, made by William Gibson of Kinghorn, Scotland. Gibson was one of the largest and most successful club makers in the world during the early 20th century.
Star Maxwell model - The "Maxwell", design patented by Robert Maxwell, refers to the iconic drilled hosel (the holes in the neck of the club).
A rustless head, with a dot punched face and fitted with a leather grip. Hickory Shaft stamped with the Gibson Star makers mark.
The head is in good condition, although the back of the head is worn and no markings are visible other than the Gibson "Deep Struck Star" cleek mark. Shaft and grip in good condition.
